Hydrangea arborescens ‘Anabelle’ | Annabelle hydrangea

Hydrangea arborescens ‘Annabelle’, also called ‘Annabelle’ for short, is a white flowering hydrangea. The leaves are light green and soft to the touch. This plant blooms in large globular flower clusters, which appear in June-August.This precise color of the flowers is white with a little lime green. The inflorescence ia actually too heavy for the relatively weak stems, so support is often needed. Substantial pruning in the spring promotes the formation of large inflorescences, but less pruning will result in more but smaller inflorescences appearing, adding to sturdiness.
