The Yellow Acacia is a very striking feature in the garden because of its golden yellow leaves. The bare branches have wine-red thorns on young twigs that later turn brown. The bright yellow, feathered leaves arrive on the tree fairly late in spring. The leaves become more deep golden yellow in the fall.
