The Ulmus Accolade has a vase-shaped crown that later becomes broadly vase-shaped and is highly resistant to Dutch elm disease. Its good resistance and vase-shaped growth make the Accolade an ideal tree for both solitary planting and as a street tree. The tree is highly wind-resistant and also tolerates sea breezes.
