Chitalpa x tashkentensis | Narrow-leaved Catalpa

This somewhat tropical-looking but small tree is a hybrid between Chilopsis and Catalpa. In early summer the substantial panicles of trumpet-shaped flowers appear, attracting very many bees. The tree can withstand heat and drought well.
