Fagus sylvatica ‘Dawyck Gold’ | Yellow columnar beech

This beech is not called Fagus sylvatica ‘Dawyck Gold’ for nothing. The leaves first turn from yellow to pale green in spring and then very beautiful gold in fall. It is a cross between the cultivars ‘Dawyck’ and ‘Zlatia’.
