Hydrangea paniculata is a sturdy panicle hydrangea or peasant hydrangea that is often used as a replacement for the popular but weaker Hydrangea arborescens ‘Annabelle’.Hydrangea paniculata turns pink and Hydrangea arborescens ‘Annabelle’ turns brown in the fall. It is a beautiful strong shrub with many flowers and few soil requirements.
