Quercus palustris | Swamp oak

The Swamp Oak is a tree that grows fairly quickly. The tree is easily recognized by its deeply incised leaves with brilliant reddish-brown fall coloring in fall. A special feature is the horizontal upright branches, giving the tree a broad pyramidal crown.
