The Chinese date tree is a fruit tree that is very hardy. In summer, it produces edible fruit, resembling a date. These fresh ripe fruits are sweet and the taste is somewhat similar to pear/lychee/apple. The Chinese date tree grows zig-zag shaped which gives a special appearance.
