This deciduous apple tree can reach a height of 9 meters. It has an upright growth habit, and a vase-shaped crown. The green is glossy, oval-shaped, and has a serrated leaf edge. The leaves turn yellow in the fall.In April through May, white/pink flowers appear in clusters on the plant. After flowering, green with red apple-shaped fruits develop. Malus domestica Roter Gravensteiner prefers a sheltered position in sun or partial shade. It is a beautiful shrub with high ornamental value in gardens or public spaces.
