Ulmus laevis | Fladder elm

The glossy dark green leaves are distinctive in Ulmus laevis, are spring-shaped and have a crooked leaf base with a double serrated leaf edge. The fall colors are slightly yellow, but not very spectacular. This elm is also little susceptible to Elm Disease.
